I am kind of confused. I went to see him perform one song, just one and he didn't sing it. The song I wanted and waited was "So Close."
Isn't he famous for that song? Is it on any of his albums? Totally confused.

Yes, the song made him famous, but it's not his. He just performed it for the Enchanted movie/Oscars and rarely plays it live except on a few occasions
(check youtube). Now if you paid attention to the concert, 95% of the songs were probably better than "So Close", cause they're actually his
songs =\

Even though you were disappointed about not hearing "So Close", I hope you enjoyed the rest of the show. Jon puts on a truly amazing live
performance!! Hopefully some of the other songs struck a chord with you.

I saw Jon last night at the Rex and he didn't sing So Close, even though that is his song, it is not what he is known for. It's on the Enchanted
Sountrack.
This was my first show of his even though I've been a fan for a few years. Let me say it was FANTASTIC! He is a great pianist and singer as well as a performer. I am definitely hooked now!! Great night! |

You are right. I did take notice that he was a phenomenal talent, and like some of the songs. Now I can't wait for him to get back this way. I will
truly appreciate his music much more since I bought the CDs.

Phenomenal. Would recommend the show to anyone. I would pay more than 20 bucks too. I don't know why he hasn't blown up, yet. I thought "So
Close" would do it for him, but it doesn't look like it has helped.

They struck more than a chord. Bought both CDs and can't wait until he gets back this way. A must see, every time he comes.
